Picasso's primal tones inspire Resort 2014

 

 Working on Resort '14 we are inspired by the primal tones and markings of the great Spanish artist. The Guggenheim's current Picasso exhibit, Picasso Black and White on till January, 23 2013 is the first exhibition to explore the artists use of black and white throughout his prolific career. His repeated minimal palette correlates to his obsessive interest in line and form, drawing, and monochromatic and tonal values, while developing a complex language of pictorial and sculptural signs.
